Produce > Cotton

Cotton is a soft, fluffy staple that grows in a boll, or protective case, around the seeds of the cotton plants. The fiber is almost pure cellulose. Under natural conditions, the cotton bolls will increase the dispersal of the seeds. This south-western region of Punjab is quite different from the rest of Punjab that most-widely sow rice. This region is mostly dependent on either Cotton-Wheat cycles or Kinnow Orchards.
