The term vegetable in its broadest sense refers to any kind of plant life or plant product; in the narrower sense, as used in this article, however, it refers to the fresh, edible portion of a herbaceous plant consumed in either raw or cooked form.

Carrot

Carrot is a root vegetable which needs well aerated beds to be sown on. The dry soil of the region promotes its growth. Different types of carrots are sown - Nantes, Samurai, Desi Red.

Onion is one of the common vegetables sown around the globe. It is required in almost every meal of a human so the demand is high, specially in off-seasons.
